Stephana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist with a deep passion for helping families thrive. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication from the University of Colorado and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
Stephana is trained in EMDR and Child EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) for both children and adults, and sandtray therapy. She is currently pursuing certification in Synergetic Play Therapy. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based practices with a Biblical perspective, guiding families toward healthy relationships and God-designed roles that foster security and connection.
Stephana’s foremost passion is to love and serve the God who sanctifies His people. This commitment shapes her work and her heart for families, helping them discover healing and wholeness through faith and therapeutic support.
She loves working with children and adolescents, helping them process heartaches, trauma, and hurts through play. Stephana believes that a child’s healing is deeply connected to the caregiver relationship, so she works closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen attachment and promote growth. She has a unique ability to create safe, nurturing connections with children, allowing them to experience healing and hope.
Married to her husband Brandon for 23 years, Stephana is a proud mom of two young adult children currently in college. Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending time with her family and continuing her education in child and family therapy.
