
Avery Hashman
LMFT
Avery is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging and meaningful moments. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Iowa and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary. She also holds a PMH-C certification through Postpartum Support International, providing her with specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Grounded in the hope and foundation she finds in Jesus Christ, Avery seeks to create a safe, welcoming environment for all who enter her office. She considers it an honor to walk alongside clients in the messy and beautiful seasons of life. Avery’s office is intended to be a space where clients can grieve freely, explore their stories, and discover healing and restoration. She practices an integrated therapeutic approach, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities to meet each person’s needs.
Avery’s clinical interests include teen concerns, grief and loss, pregnancy and postpartum struggles and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, adjustment disorders, peer difficulties, and spiritual issues. She works with teenagers and adults of all ages.
Outside the office, Avery enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and cat. She loves gathering with loved ones, watching her favorite shows and movies, playing music, visiting local ice cream shops, and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
Avery currently sees clients Monday through Wednesday.
