Our Team

Elizabeth serves as the Director of Life Coaching , bringing a wealth of diverse educational and professional experiences to her role. She holds a bachelor's degree in applied French from the University of Iowa and began her career in New York City with the French Commercial Services office before transitioning to Translation Services for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. A subsequent four-year tenure as a Project Manager for a premiere Public Relations firm for Christian organizations sparked a shift in her professional path.

God led her back to Iowa, where she dedicated nearly 25 years to ministry to women and children suffering from homelessness, addiction, and trauma. A core component of her work was empowering women to reclaim their agency by identifying and pursuing life-changing opportunities for growth and healing. She was instrumental in guiding women through the recovery process, providing the strategic life coaching necessary to transition from crisis to long-term stability and pursue transformative new paths.

This foundation led her to join the Heartland team in November 2025 to develop and build the life-coaching component of the business, where she is pursuing certification to serve as one of our life coaches. Her personal interests include her cats, travel (stateside and abroad), decorative design, serving on the worship team at her church, and finding the best coffee shops.  She has been known to hit three  in a day!
