Jamie Schumacher

PA-C

Jamie Schumacher, PA-C, is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in emergency medicine, psychiatry, and children’s mental health. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Simpson College and completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Des Moines University. Her clinical background spans fast-paced emergency care, comprehensive psychiatric treatment, and specialized work supporting the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

As a wife, mother, and foster parent, Jamie brings a grounded, empathetic understanding of the challenges individuals and families face. Her work is shaped by the belief that every person is inherently valuable, created in God’s image, and capable of healing and wholeness.

Jamie is passionate about mental health advocacy and approaches care through a whole-person lens—spiritually, physically, and mentally. While her personal faith informs her compassion and worldview, she warmly welcomes and cares for individuals from all faiths, backgrounds, and belief systems. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where every person feels seen, understood, and empowered.

By treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms, Jamie strives to walk alongside patients as they move toward full healing and restored well-being.
