About Gabrielle
Gabrielle is a temporary licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a bachelor’s degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Regent University. She has been at Heartland since her internship experience in 2022.
Gabrielle believes that God’s desire for each person is that they would “have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). Her relationship with God, the ultimate Comforter, has been foundational in her pursuit of a career in counseling. Gabrielle approaches healing from a holistic perspective. She enjoys using emotion-focused modalities in the therapy setting as well as equipping clients with practical tools to be utilized at home. She helps individuals and couples navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, conflict, marital and parenting issues, and unexpected life events.
Gabrielle is married to her high school sweetheart, and she has one daughter and one son. She exercises her creativity through writing, drawing, and poetry. At any given time, she is reading one non-fiction and one fiction book. She also enjoys traveling with her family and going for walks as often as the Iowa weather allows.
