Emily attended Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and received a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies and Worship Arts. She serves at Heartland Christian Counseling in a support staff role, assisting with scheduling, check-ins, communication, therapist needs, and other day-to-day tasks.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, baking, and hosting game nights with friends.
